What has Inspired David to be a Part of CAN-PACT?

My career has been eclectic and interesting, but the one constant throughout has been a passion for bringing the best available evidence to decision-making. I believe the only way to do that in a lasting way is to bring researchers and decision makers (whether policymakers, managers, clinicians, or patients) together in mutual respect of each other’s skills, knowledge, and experience. We have a lot to learn from each other. The potential positive impact in cancer care is enormous, because all of our lives are affected by cancer in some way.
