Professional Background
Haley is a clinician-scientist in training with a background in Biological Sciences and Psychology, and a Master’s in Medical Science. Her research focuses on the clinical implementation of psychedelic-assisted therapies (PAT) in oncology and palliative care, emphasizing agent-specific safety, ethics, and stakeholder perspectives. Drawing from over a decade of experience in private and community healthcare—including clinical support, patient advocacy, and leadership—Haley brings a patient-centered, translational lens to her work in integrative oncology.

Role with CAN-PACT
As a graduate trainee member of CAN-PACT, Haley plays an active role in the research and knowledge translation arms of the network. Her primary contributions include leading a national multi-stakeholder survey and two qualitative studies examining attitudes toward PAT in cancer care. She supports CAN-PACT’s mission by contributing to ongoing publications, presenting at national and international conferences, and promoting interdisciplinary collaboration across research, policy, and practice.
