Nisha Marshall, MSc

Clinical Psychology,
University of Calgary - Cumming School of Medicine

Biography

Nisha is a MSc student in Clinical Psychology at the University of Calgary. Her research focuses on identifying research priorities in psychedelic-assisted cancer therapies that matter most to patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals. As a CAN-PACT trainee, she will conduct a priority setting partnership using the James Lind Alliance (JLA) to identify and prioritize the most important unanswered questions about psychedelic-assisted cancer therapies. These priorities will ensure future research is rooted in what truly matters to people living with advanced cancer.

Nisha completed an MSc in Reproductive and Developmental Sciences at the University of British Columbia. Her previous research focused on survivorship following gynecologic cancers and the use of digital health interventions to support well-being. She is excited to broaden her skills and expertise in oncology research by exploring the potential of psychedelic-assisted therapy to support emotional healing and well-being in people living with advanced cancer.
